Accepting These Terms
These terms set out the rules for playing our Games. They work alongside our Privacy Policy, Children’s Privacy notice, and the published rules of each Game, all of which form part of your agreement with us.
If you bought a Game from a store — Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, the App Store, or Google Play — our End User Licence Agreement also covers your licence to the software itself.
By clicking “Accept”, installing a Game, or continuing to play, you agree to these terms, and you confirm they are enforceable like any written contract signed by you. If you don’t agree, don’t install or play our Games. If you’re under 18, read these terms with a parent or guardian and get their consent first.
Please pay particular attention to the sections on account ownership, virtual items, and our disclaimers — they limit our liability and your rights.
Your Licence To Play
We grant you a personal, non-commercial, revocable, non-transferable licence to install and play our Games on your own devices. Anything beyond personal play — commercial use, resale, rental — needs our written permission.
Download only from our official channels or an authorised store. We can’t support or vouch for copies from anywhere else.
We may update our Games and change or retire features. Older versions may stop working, so keep your client current.
Please don’t:
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or probe the software for weaknesses.
• Modify or forge game data, memory, or traffic between client and server.
• Make, use, or share cheats, plugins, bots, accelerators, or other unauthorised third-party software.
• Exploit or spread bugs — tell us instead, we’d genuinely rather fix them.
• Attack, intrude on, or overload our servers, or run private servers or mirror sites.
• Remove or obscure our names, logos, trademarks, or copyright notices.
We Own The Game
We own or have licensed everything in our Games — code, art, characters, stories, music, sound, UI, and text — along with the game data generated as you play. “ACE”, “ACE Entertainment”, and “ACE 游戏社” are names we use, and our logos and related trademarks belong to us. Rights we haven’t expressly granted here stay with us.
No Ownership Of Your Account
Your account and everything associated with it belongs to us. We don’t recognise the purchase, sale, transfer, or trade of accounts, and any such attempt is void. Don’t share your account, lend it out, or let anyone else play on it.
Keeping it safe is a shared job. Register with true, lawful identity details — they can’t be changed later and are the only proof linking you to the account. You’re responsible for everything done under your account, so keep your password confidential and tell us immediately if it’s lost, stolen, or exposed. Before we act on an account request, we may ask for ID matching your registration.
If you play in guest mode, bind a real account promptly. Until you do, reinstalling the Game or losing your device wipes your progress permanently.
Our staff will never ask for your password or security codes. Treat any such request as an attempt to defraud you.
No Ownership Of Virtual Items
Characters, gear, props, resources, and virtual currency are all part of the Game and belong to us. Playing earns you a right to use them in-game while they’re associated with your account — not property you own.
• Virtual items have no monetary value and can’t be redeemed for real money.
• Virtual currency is one-way: money converted into it counts as spent.
• Items with no stated duration last until the Game’s service ends. Timed items expire on schedule.
• We may add, alter, rebalance, move, or remove any content, including virtual items.
• We don’t recognise trades of accounts or items outside our Games, and we can’t help with disputes arising from them.
Buy only inside the Game or through channels we’ve approved. Third-party top-up agents are prohibited, and so is keeping what you bought after claiming a refund elsewhere. If you have a problem with a purchase, talk to us first — that’s what support is for.
Code Of Conduct
Play lawfully and treat other people well. We maintain and enforce this code ourselves, and we decide what breaches it. These are examples of conduct that may lead to action against your account:
• Impersonating anyone — another player, our staff, or the Game itself — or communicating in a way that appears to come from us.
• Choosing a character, guild, or team name that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, racially or ethnically insensitive, misleading, or infringing. Creative misspellings don’t get around this.
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, or directing unwanted attention at other players.
• Posting someone else’s personal information, including ours.
• Spamming, flooding chat, or advertising goods and services.
• Posting content that is unlawful, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, or that promotes cheats, private servers, malware, or gambling.
• Scamming or defrauding another player out of virtual items.
• Transmitting viruses, trojans, bots, keyloggers, or code that damages or scrapes data from any system.
• Playing mainly to make real-world money — multi-accounting to farm and sell items, cross-server arbitrage, or brokering trades for a fee.
• Accessing parts of the Game or our servers that aren’t meant to be public.
• Anything else that we consider contrary to the spirit of the Game, whether or not it’s listed above.
Our in-game monitoring data is what we rely on when judging cheating, and data stored on our servers is authoritative in any technical dispute.
Suspension And Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to our Games where you breach these terms or the Code of Conduct, or where doing so protects other players or a third party’s rights.
Depending on what happened, measures range from a warning or a mute, through restricting features and reclaiming improperly obtained items or progress, up to permanently banning the account and deleting characters. Serious cases may also carry legal liability. We’ll tell you the period of any temporary suspension, and we may use automated systems to help make these decisions.
We may also freeze an account while we investigate data anomalies, suspected theft, or abuse, and roll data back to its state before the problem. Virtual items traced to theft, fraud, or profiteering may be reclaimed even from players who weren’t involved — that’s how we protect the people who were.
Inactivity and closure. If you haven’t signed in for three years, we may delete your account and its data. If the account has an email address bound to it, we’ll write to that address first and give you 30 calendar days to respond — signing in during that window keeps the account. If no email is bound, including accounts still in guest mode, we have no way to reach you and no warning will be sent, so please bind one. Deletion after that is permanent. Where a Game offers account closure, follow its official process; closing an account erases the data associated with it, so choose carefully.
Videos, Streams, And Fan Content
We love seeing what our community makes. You’re welcome to record and stream our Games, and to create fan art, fiction, and other work using them, for personal and community purposes — including supporting yourself through ad revenue, sponsorships, and donations on your channel.
A few boundaries: keep original creator credits intact, don’t remove our legal notices, don’t use our logos or trademarks or suggest we endorse or commissioned your work, don’t put our game content behind a paywall or sell direct reproductions of our art and assets, and don’t publish anything hateful, obscene, or unlawful. We can ask you to take content down, and we may use and share what you publish about our Games.
Full detail lives in our Fan Content Policy, which also covers Mods. Questions we haven’t answered: business@gamewithace.com.
Your Content And Information
You keep ownership of what you create and upload. By sharing it through our Games or channels, you grant us and our affiliates a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, and display it, and to create derivative works from it. You’re responsible for making sure what you share doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
You also authorise us to collect the information needed to run the service, and to send you news about our games and services. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Privacy And Younger Players
We protect your personal data and handle it under our Privacy Policy. We won’t share your name, ID number, contact details, or address with third parties except with your consent (or your guardian’s), where the law or a court or authority requires it, or where we need to defend our own legal claims.
In line with Chinese regulation, real-name registration data feeds a mandatory minor-protection system. Accounts may be restricted where a player is identified as a minor, where real-name details are incomplete or unverified, where play happens in guest mode, or where the law requires it. Measures include spending caps, playtime limits, feature restrictions, reporting to a legal guardian, and account deletion.
Service Availability And Disclaimers
Our Games and services are provided “as is”. We don’t warrant that they’ll be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties of performance, fitness, and non-infringement.
Maintenance, server and network faults, emergencies, third-party causes, and force majeure (natural disasters, changes in law or policy, carrier outages, hacking) may interrupt service without liability on our side.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue a Game or feature. If we retire a Game entirely, we’ll give 60 days’ public notice; apart from purchased-but-unused virtual currency, no compensation is owed.
• Android and iOS aren’t interoperable. Purchases and save data may not carry between them.
• Some Games include mandatory PvP areas. If that’s not for you, don’t enter — entering means you accept it.
• Offline Games store progress on your device. Uninstalling or damaging the device loses it unless you’ve saved online.
• Third-party ads and links in our Games are the advertiser’s responsibility — use your own judgement.
• We’re not liable for failures to store or retain content, including content you post.
• If your conduct harms us or a third party, you’re responsible for the resulting damage and our reasonable costs of recovering it.
Governing Law
This agreement is made in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, and is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding all conflict-of-laws rules. If a dispute arises, let’s try to resolve it in good faith first; failing that, both sides agree to the jurisdiction of the Binjiang District People’s Court, Hangzhou.
Languages
The Chinese language version of this agreement is the original, governing instrument. Where this English version conflicts with it, the Chinese version governs.
Changes To These Terms
We may amend these terms when we need to, and we’ll post notice on our official pages — please check back from time to time. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it; if you don’t accept it, stop using the service.
If any part of these terms is held invalid, the rest stays in force. Headings are for convenience only. If we delay or don’t fully exercise a right, that isn’t a waiver of it.
