Terms of Service — Lil'A (Ace Role Manager)

These Terms govern your use of Lil'A (the "Bot"), a Discord application operated by 杭州初宇游戏科技有限公司 (Hangzhou Chuyu Game Technology Co., Ltd., Unified Social Credit Code 91330104MA2H1CWY6D) ("we", "us") to deliver crowdfunding backer rewards for the game Tales of Seikyu inside the official Discord server.

By using the Bot — including by opening a support ticket that the Bot responds to — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not interact with the Bot, and contact the server staff instead.

1. What the Bot does

The Bot operates only inside Discord servers where it has been installed by a server administrator. Its functions are:

1. Backer verification. When a support ticket is opened in the server's Tickets category, the Bot reads the messages in that ticket channel to find the email address supplied by the ticket opener, and checks it against our list of crowdfunding backers.
2. Role assignment. If the email matches a backer record, the Bot assigns the corresponding reward roles to the Discord account associated with the ticket.
3. Ticket closure. After replying, the Bot deletes the ticket channel following roughly ten minutes of inactivity. Posting any message in the ticket cancels this and keeps the ticket open for human staff.
4. Role management commands. Server staff with the Manage Roles permission may use the /role and /ping slash commands to add, remove, or list roles.

2. Eligibility

You must meet Discord's own Terms of Service, including its minimum age requirement, to use the Bot. The Bot is not directed at children below that age.

3. Reward claims and limits

• Reward roles are granted based on the backer records we received from our crowdfunding platform. We do not create or modify those records through the Bot.
• Each backer email may be claimed by a limited number of distinct Discord accounts — normally one, or two for reward tiers that explicitly cover a second person (for example Buddy Pack, or a 2X package). Once that limit is reached, further claims on the same email are refused.
• Attempting to claim rewards using an email address that is not yours, sharing backer emails to obtain roles, or otherwise circumventing the claim limits is prohibited and may result in removal of roles and removal from the server.

4. No guarantee of accuracy or availability

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular:

• Automated matching can fail — for example if an email is misspelled, was recorded differently by the crowdfunding platform, or the reward tier is not recognised. A failed match is not a denial of your reward; it means the claim needs human review.
• Role assignment depends on Discord's API and on the Bot's role position in the server hierarchy, and may fail for reasons outside our control.
• We may suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Bot at any time, without notice.

If the Bot does not grant a reward you believe you are entitled to, you can reclaim it via https://backer.talesofseikyu.fun or by contacting server staff. These Terms do not affect any separate obligation we owe you as a backer.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• abuse, spam, or attempt to overload the Bot or the ticket system;
• attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Bot or the systems it runs on;
• impersonate another backer, or submit an email address you are not entitled to use;
• use the Bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

6. Data

The Bot processes message content, email addresses, and Discord account identifiers. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and how to request deletion.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot, including lost roles, lost access, or deleted ticket channels. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be announced in the Discord server. Continued use of the Bot after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the EEA, or another jurisdiction whose consumer protection law cannot be excluded by agreement, this choice of law does not deprive you of the mandatory protections available to you under the law of your place of residence.
